What is expense and financial management software for?
An expense management software improves your company's profitability by understanding which areas generate more profit and in which ones you need to invest more.
Can an expense be approved by several people?
Yes, you can add one specific person or a relative role such as Managers or Time Off Supervisors to approve expenses or configure multiple approval steps, meaning more than one person can approve each step.
Can I add notes when I reject an expense?
Yes. It’s possible to send comments to the employee(s) when rejecting expenses in bulk. The employee will get an email with this information too.
Can I identify when an expense has been paid?
Yes! Once the expense is approved, you can set it as paid on the expense detail or do it in bulk on the Expenses table. The employee will see a message saying that the expense was set as Paid, but it could take a while to get the money.
Can I sync other company bank accounts to Factorial Expenses?
No, it’s not possible to sync other bank account transactions to Factorial Expenses and we are not planning to do it in the short term. Have you considered the Factorial cards? However, there’s a new finance team, Banking, that could probably work on this.
Can I delete an expense?
Yes, you can delete a manual expense. You need to reject the expense and then delete it. Admins have this permission by default but you can create a permission group and enable the delete one for them, as a manager, as a team leader, or the whole company.
