1. Bug resolution - When a client reports something broken, we need to trace the exact request to figure out what happened in the LLM pipeline. Without the employeeId we can't connect a complaint to a specific trace.
2. Catching problems early - We can spot latency spikes, error rate increases, or degraded response quality before clients start filing tickets.
3. Cost visibility - Token consumption adds up. Langfuse lets us see which features burn through tokens and whether any prompts are looping or misconfigured.
4. Improving prompts - When the AI gives a bad answer, we need the full trace to understand why and fix the prompt. No trace, no fix.
5. Audit trail - If a client questions what the AI said in a specific interaction, we can pull the trace and show exactly what happened.
