Planned breaks sync with Time Tracking
Breaks set in the planning tool are now automatically synced and tracked—reducing manual work and ensuring compliance.
Until now, managers had to manually track breaks even when they were already defined in the work schedule. With this update, breaks that are planned at a fixed time are automatically reflected in time tracking, meaning less admin work, fewer errors, and better alignment with labor regulations – especially in markets like Germany.
Here's how it works:
- Set breaks in your planning tool at a fixed time
- Activate automatic breaks in your Time Tracking policy
- Select the option to start break "at planned time"
- Your planned breaks will automatically sync and be tracked
You'll still be able to use the previous automatic rules, of having a break after a specific amount of hours, which works the same way it used to. More flexibility and automation are coming in future iterations.
